A Vinning and Compliance Assistant provides support to our Inspectors to help achieve an efficient and accurate flow of imported vehicles through the Entry Certification process.

Working in a workshop environment, responsibilities include:

• The preparation of client documentation for VIN/Certificates.
• Safety inspection.
• Job card raising.
• Dispatch.

For this role you'll need a positive attitude, practical experience in a workshop environment, as well as accurate data entry and basic computer skills.

Our Inspectors are highly skilled, experienced and extensively trained and carry out vehicle inspections to NZ Transport Agency standards.

There are opportunities to inspect a range of vehicles for different services – Warrant of Fitness (WoF), Certificate of Fitness (CoF), Entry Certification, Vehicle Appraisals and electric/hybrid vehicle safety checks.

To qualify, you'll be:

• An experienced mechanic or have a trade qualification.
• Able to demonstrate practical technical and exceptional customer service skills.
• Able to document and process vehicle information.
• Knowledgeable about vehicle safety.
• Able to work autonomously & as part of a team.
