What is a Pre-CoF Inspection?
A Pre-CoF is a complete check-over of your heavy goods vehicle (over 6,000kg) or passenger service vehicle, carried out exactly like a real CoF inspection. The difference? It’s a chance to find and fix any issues before the official inspection — not after a fail.
You’ll get an independent, detailed report on your vehicle’s condition, covering all the same points your CoF inspection will. From there, you can sort any repairs in your own time and roll into your CoF with confidence.
